Atra-Hasis? Bring him to me at once!
JE, opens door: Messenger,
the Chief Vizier orders me to bring you to him at once.
MG, advances to the East, kneels on right knee: Chief Vizier, I have been sent to
inform you that Master Atra-Hasis, the Exceedingly Wise, protégé
of Lord Enki, bids you well in his absence, and expresses
sincere guilt for his hasty departure.
The reason for his departure is that the Master has been
secretly urged by Lord Enki himself to build a large covered ark
along banks of the Euphrates. In one morning, he assembled reed
workers, carpenters, and their apprentices, and in five days
laid out the outer walls of the ark of 120 cubits. Built within
were six decks, divided into compartments of seven and nine.
Boarding upon my departure were the Master himself, his family,
craftsmen, seafaring men, all species of animal, and the seeds
of all life. Gold, silver, and other possessions were loaded,
but unaccounted for was one treasure most valuable to the
Master, the whereabouts of which are known only to you.
I was sent to retrieve this curious treasure and return it to
the Master before the entry of the ark is sealed. I fear though
that I am too weak to return from whence I came.
CV: I understand.
Thank you, Messenger. Attendants, please escort this man to a
place of rest where he can regain his strength. Done. Senior Emissary.
SE, rises, faces the East:
Chief Vizier.
CV: Escort me to the hearth where our guests are
taking refuge. Raps gavel three times,
all rise.
SE, escorts CV to hearth: All hail the Chief
Vizier of Atra-Hasis. Done.
CV: Wanderers, I
pray you are well rested and in eager spirits. If you recall
prior to entering this Inner Sanctum, you were asked if you
possess a certain fortitude that will enable you to willingly
traverse and perform critical tasks on my behest. Well, it has
come to my attention that my Master, Atra-Hasis, has been
secretly urged by Lord Enki himself to build a large covered ark
along banks of the Euphrates, the reason for which I am
uncertain. All the seeds of life were loaded, as well as
treasures; but unaccounted for was one treasure most valuable to
my Master, the whereabouts of which are known only to me.
I wish to offer you a new sense of direction, to be Wanderers no
more, and impart you with this curious treasure that you must
return to my Master post haste. But in order for me to entrust
you with this treasure, it will be necessary for you to take a
solemn oath appertaining to the journey at hand. As Chief
Vizier, I assure you that nothing contained will conflict with
your moral, social, or civil duties or privileges.
With this assurance, are you willing to take the solemn oath?
WD: We are.
CV: Then advance around
the hearth, and kneel on your naked left knee, both eyes gazing
into the rekindled flame that shall light your way. Done. Overseers, Emissaries,
Attendants, and Journeymen, take your positions around the
hearth. Done.
Wanderers, if you are still willing to take the solemn oath, say
I done, pronounce your name
in full done, and repeat
after me: On my own willful accord and within the Sublime
Presence, before the rekindled flame that shines my way and the
security of this Inner Sanctum of Atra-Hasis, erected by the
Exceedingly Wise and dedicated to the memory of the Forgotten
One, do hereby and hereon, solemnly and sincerely promise and
swear that I will never reveal the truth about any secrets,
mysteries, or treasures that I have discovered or will discover
on my first journey, to anyone unless it shall be to a fellow
Journeymen sworn in by this very oath and embarking on the same
path as mine or further. And not unto any person or persons
until by proper and mindful trial, investigation, or legitimate
information, I shall have found them worthy and enabled to
receive the same.
Furthermore I do promise and swear that I will neither again
wander aimlessly in the dark of confusion or apathy, nor forget
the instructions given me by this Sanctum or by a worthy
Journeymen of further journey, nor hopelessly dwell upon the
severity of my path, nor be complacent about the tranquility of
the same to the best of my abilities, and so long as I have yet
to uncover the ultimate truth of my Being.
To all of which I do solemnly promise and swear, without
physical or mental hesitation or evasion of conscience, binding
myself under no less a penalty than to falter back into
labyrinthine byways of Eridu, lost and oblivious of the
rekindled flame that had shone my way, knowing only confusion
and surrounded only by apathy, should I ever knowingly or
willfully violate this, my solemn oath of this first journey.
Let this be my testament of sincerity and truth under the
watchful Eye of the Ascendant One.
Now that you have sworn yourselves in to this journey, I will
now reveal to you this most curious treasure, of which you must
never forget. Shows first sign.
This is a sign. The sign of a Key. The Key of the letter D. And
this drops left hand to side, pounds

this Key, of which you must also never forget; but, as you are
uninstructed, let he who has hitherto answered for you at this

Journeymen before the hearth for my farewell. Done, raps gavel three times. All
rise. Approaches hearth.
Journeymen, it is now time that you leave the security of this
Sanctum to embark on the first of many more journeys that lay
ahead of you. You have indeed proven yourselves worthy to
myself, my Overseers, and everyone in this Sanctum. Again, do
not forget the sign of the key, the name of its keeper, or its
representative. And do not forget your Self. I pray we meet
again under better circumstances, pause
but a part of me feels that this time might be our last. I hear
a storm coming; a harbinger of things to come. Quickly now, make
haste, and farewell.
Senior Emissary.
SE: Chief Vizier.
CV: Reconduct these
Journeymen to the place whence they came, invest them with that

these barrels of bitumen to the Craftsmen, and assist them in
repairing any damage you may find. Done.
Craftsmen, report!
SC: All damage is
repaired in the South, Exceedingly Wise.
FC: All damage is
repaired in the West, Exceedingly Wise.
EX: Thank you,
Craftsmen. Helmsman, report!
HM: The Ark is no
longer adrift, and has appeared to be firmly mounted atop a
structure beneath us.
EX: Thank you,
Helmsman. Watchstander, report!
WA: The rains have
ceased, the pounding waves subsided, and the seas calmed,
Exceedingly Wise.
EX:
Thank you Watchstander. The worst is over. Craftsmen,
Apprentices, and Seafaring men, return to your stations.
Journeymen, return as you were before the helm. Let us all sit
and rest. Raps gavel, everyone seated. We shall reconvene at the first sight
of light.
Lights off, pause for 20 seconds, lights back on.
WA rises, faces the East: Exceedingly
Wise!
First light has broken through the clouds in the East, and the
waters are receding!
EX, rises, raps gavel three times: Craftsmen,
Apprentices, Seafaring men, and Journeymen, rise and take your
proper positions before the helm. Done.
I pray you are all well rested and in eager
spirits. I first wish to give due praise to our Craftsmen, who
managed to repair the damage in the Ark and keep us from sinking
into the depths of this Great Deluge. Secondly, I wish to give
due praise to the Seafaring men who managed to keep our Ark from
wandering into uncertain doom. Third, I wish to give due praise
to the Apprentices who assisted the Craftsmen at a moment’s
notice. And last, our Journeymen, who saved us all when all
seemed lost. We are all indebted to you.
Journeymen, if you recall prior to entering this Inner Sanctum,
you were asked if you possess a certain fortitude that will
enable you to willingly traverse and perform critical tasks on
my behest. Well, since you have proven yourselves worthy beyond
a shadow of a doubt and are in possession of the sign of the Key
of D, the name of its keeper, and its representative, I wish to
impart you with a most curious treasure which you must return to
a certain location known only to me, for reasons that will be
revealed once you accomplish your task. But in order for me to
entrust you with this treasure, it will be necessary for you to
take a solemn oath appertaining to the journey at hand. I,
Atra-Hasis, the Exceedingly Wise, assure you that nothing
contained will conflict with your moral, social, or civil duties
or privileges. With this assurance, are you willing to take the
solemn oath?
WD: We are.
CV: Then advance
around the helm, and kneel on your naked right knee, both eyes
gazing into the helm that shall steer your way. Done. Craftsmen, Seafaring men,
Apprentices, and Journeymen, take your positions around the
helm. Done.
Journeymen, if you are still willing to take the solemn oath,
say I done., pronounce your
name in full done., and
repeat after me: On my own willful accord and within the Sublime
Presence, before the helm that steers my way and the security of
this Inner Sanctum of the Ark, erected by the Craftsmen and
dedicated to the memory of the Forgotten One, do hereby and
hereon, solemnly and sincerely promise and swear that I will
never reveal the truth about any secrets, mysteries, or
treasures that I have discovered or will discover on my second
journey, to anyone unless it shall be to a fellow Journeymen
sworn in by this very oath and embarking on the same path as
mine or further. And not unto any person or persons until by
proper and mindful trial, investigation, or legitimate
information, I shall have found them worthy and enabled to
receive the same.
Furthermore I do promise and swear that I will neither forget to
stop and assist any fallen, forgotten, downtrodden, disoriented,
or wayward Journeymen whom I encounter along my path to the best
of my abilities, nor dare think that doing so shall hinder my
progress in any way, nor dare think that any digression in the
name of service to others shall stall me from uncovering the
ultimate truth of my Being.
To all of which I do solemnly promise and swear, without
physical or mental hesitation or evasion of conscience, binding
myself under no less a penalty than to be cast into the breadth
of the Great Deluge, set adrift into the vastness of the
oblivion, knowing not when nor how I will be pulled down into
the bottomless depths of complete and utter darkness, should I
ever knowingly or willfully violate this, my solemn oath of this
second journey. Let this be my testament of sincerity and truth
under the watchful Eye of the Ascendant One.
Now that you have sworn yourselves in to this journey, I will
now reveal to you this most curious treasure, of which you must
never forget. Shows second sign.
This is a sign. The sign of a Key. The Key of the letter A. And
this drops left hand to side, pounds
chest 13 times with right fist is its
representative. Its representative is the number 13. Remember
this, for this sign shows second sign of the Key of A, its representative drops left hand to side, pounds chest 13
times with right fist, and the name of its keeper
will be demanded of you in order for you to gain entry into the
Inner Sanctum of Lord Enki, within the Temple of E-Abzu. I will
now invest you with the name of the Keeper of this Key, of which
you must also never forget; but, as you are uninstructed, let he
who has hitherto answered for you at this time give me the sign
of the Key of A. Helmsman.
HM: Exceedingly
Wise.
EX: Show me a sign.
HM gives second sign.
EX: What is that a
sign of?
HM: The Key of A.
EX: Whom does this
key belong to?
HM: His name I

EX: Nun
HM: Na
EX & HM: A-Nun-Na
EX: A-Nun-Na is the
name of the Keeper of this Key, and you shall never utter it in
any manner except that which you have been instructed.
Journeymen! Rise, and satisfy my First and Second Craftsmen that
you are in possession of the sign of the Key of A gives sign, it’s representative done., and the name of its
keeper, A-Nun-Na.
Returns to the East, raps gavel once, all seated.
HM, conducts Journeymen to around Inner Sanctum one time,

Raps three times before SC.
SC, raps gavel, rises: Who demands my attention?
HM: … duty-bound

HM: A
SC: Nun
HM: Na
HM & SC: A-Nun-Na
SC: Have you the
A-Nun-Na Key?
HM: I have its
representative.
SC: Give it for my
benefit.
HM drops left hand to side, pounds chest 13 times with right
fist.
SC: I am satisfied.
HM, conducts Journeymen to FC: Halt! Raps three times before FC.
FC, raps gavel, rises: Who demands my attention?
HM: … duty-bound
Journeymen of the Sanctum of the Ark, sworn in to their second
journey.
FC: How can you

A-Nun-Na Key?
HM: I have its
representative.
FC: Give it for my
benefit.
HM drops left hand to side, pounds chest 13 times with right
fist.
FC: I am satisfied.
HM conducts Journeymen toward the East.
WA: Land ho! The
Ark is atop the peak of Mount Nimush!
EX, raps gavel once, halting HM: Helmsman, reconduct these Journeymen
before the helm for my farewell. done,
rap gavel three times All rise. Approach helm.
Twice Journeymen, the waters have receded, and we have struck
land. It is now time that you leave the security of this Inner
Sanctum to embark on the second of many more journeys that lay
ahead of you. You have indeed proven yourselves worthy to
myself, my Craftsmen, and everyone in this Sanctum. Again, do
not forget the sign of the key, the name of its keeper, or its
representative. And do not forget your Self. May we meet again
under better circumstances. I fear, however, that the Great
Deluge has left the Temple of E-Abzu in ruins, and has perhaps
wiped Mankind off the face of this Earth. If we are indeed the
last of our kind, I pray for your safety as you traverse through
the barren wasteland. Quickly now, make haste, and farewell.
Helmsman.
HM: Exceedingly
Wise.
EX: Reconduct these
Journeymen to the place whence they came, invest them with that
which was divested, and may we all bid them a safe journey. Done.
ALL, as Journeymen pass by them: Safe journey.

Senior Emissary conducts Journeymen around Inner Sanctum
three times, each time JO,

MS: Journeymen, if
you truly were sent by Atra-Hasis, I have but one question to
ask.
If you answer in error, you will be denied refuge in this
Sanctum and shall be left at the mercy of the devastation
without. Now, have you the A-Nun-Na key?
JM: I have its
representative.
MS: Give it for my
benefit.
JM drops left hand to side, pounds chest 13 times with right
fist.
MS: Journeymen from the Sanctum of the Ark they
truly are. Senior Emissary, they having proved themselves of
worth and without devious intent, reconduct them before the
Sepulcher so that they can rest and refresh themselves. I, the
Master Servant, shall formally address our guests after I attend
to more pressing matters.
SE, reconducts Journeymen before the Sepulcher: Journeymen, the Master Servant wishes
that you rest and refresh yourselves before the Sepulcher. He
shall address you all shortly as soon as he attends to more
pressing matters. Please sit and relax.
Done. Attendants, offer our guests with what
little we have left. Done.
ST raps three times on outer door.
JE, rises: Master Servant.
MS: Junior
Emissary.
JE: There is an
alarm at the outer door.
MS: Attend to the
alarm and ascertain the cause.
JE, approaches outer door, raps three times: Who
dares seek entry?
ST: A lone survivor
who is at death’s door. Her injuries are severe, yet she begs
for refuge and what little food and water we have left.
JE, closes door: Master
Servant, there is without a lone survivor who is at death’s
door. Her injuries are severe, yet she begs for refuge and what
little food and water we have left. Shall we deny her?
MS: We have already
offered the remainder of our food and water to our guests.
Should we deny our guests who have already proven themselves of
worth and without devious intent? If so, one of our duty-bound
Journeymen must relinquish their rations and refuge, and leave
the security of this Sanctum for the sake of one who is already
at death’s door. Overseers, rise! Done.
Junior Overseer, what advice can you give?
JO: Deny the
survivor.
MS: Senior
Overseer, what advice can you give?
SO: Master Servant,
that is not a question we Overseers can rightfully answer. The
question must be directed to the Journeymen who have proven
themselves of worth and without devious intent.
MS: Journeymen,
rise! Done. There is
without one lone survivor who is at death’s door. Her injuries
are severe, yet she begs for refuge and what little food and
water we have already offered you. However, in order to admit
her, one of you must relinquish your rations and refuge, and
leave the security of this Sanctum for her sake. And so I ask,
which one of you duty-bound Journeymen will make that sacrifice
for the sake of One?
Steps down, approaches each Journeymen one-by-one.
Journeymen, will you make that sacrifice for the sake of One?
JM: I will.
MS: Junior
Emissary, since all these duty-bound Journeymen are willing to
make the ultimate sacrifice, admit the survivor so that we may
attend to her at once.
JE, opens door: Attendants,
help carry the lone survivor before the Sepulcher at once!
Carry lone survivor shrouded in white garments.
MS, raps gavel three times:
Rise and take your proper positions before the Sepulcher.
Done. Attendants, tend to her wounds. Done. Journeymen, give her what
little food and water you have left. Done.
JA: The food and
water is now depleted.
SA: We have
bandaged her wounds, but she is still at death’s door.
MS: Journeymen, if
you remain and occupy our time, our lone survivor will suffer
much pain before finally succumbing to her wounds. If you truly
are of worth and without devious intent, will you honor your
word and leave this Sanctum so that we may bring comfort to this
lone survivor?
JM: We will.
MS: Then duty-bound Journeymen, in the name of
the Forgotten One, may you always be remembered. Senior
Emissary, remove these Journeymen from our Sanctum and into the
barren wasteland.
SE: At once, Master
Servant. Escorts Journeymen through
inner door into the Outer Sanctum, close door, keep
Journeymen alone in the dark for a brief period of time.
Master Servant returns to the East, and Survivor takes his
place before the Sepulcher. All other officers assume their
proper positions around the Sepulcher.
KK: Senior Emissary, readmit our Journeymen, and
conduct them before the Sepulcher. Done.
Journeymen, you have made the ultimate sacrifice
for the sake of One, and for that I thank you. Now, I stand
before you, bathed in realization and imparted by this Sanctum
with the Ultimate Truth of all that was, is, and ever will be.
In return for your fortitude, honor, and selflessness, I wish to
impart you with my most precious gift, reveal my true identity,
and explain the true purpose for all the journeys you have
embarked on from infant to Wanderer, and from Wanderer to
Journeymen.
But in order for me to entrust you with all this, it will be
necessary for you to take a solemn oath appertaining to the
journey at hand. I assure you that nothing contained will
conflict with your moral, social, or civil duties or privileges.
With this assurance, are you willing to take the solemn oath?
WD: We are.
KK: Then advance around the Sepulcher, and kneel
on both naked knees, both eyes gazing into the Sepulcher that
will reveal to you the Ultimate Truth. Done.
Journeymen, if you are still willing to take the solemn oath,
say I done, pronounce your
name in full done, and
repeat after me: On my own willful accord and within the Sublime
Presence, before the Sepulcher that reveals the Ultimate Truth
and the security of this Inner Sanctum of Lord Enki, erected by
those who from the Heavens to Earth came and dedicated to the
memory of the Forgotten One, do hereby and hereon, solemnly and
sincerely promise and swear that I will never reveal the truth
about any secrets, mysteries, or treasures that I have
discovered or will discover on my third and final journey, to
anyone unless it shall be to a fellow Journeymen sworn in by
this very oath and embarking on the same path as mine or
further. And not unto any person or persons until by proper and
mindful trial, investigation, or legitimate information, I shall
have found them worthy and enabled to receive the same.
Furthermore do I promise and swear that I will support the
constitution of the Ascendant Council of the Antient Arcane
Antediluvian Rite, and conform to all the bylaws, rules, and
regulations of this or any other Sanctum of which I may at any
time become a member, so far as in my power.
Furthermore do I promise and swear that I will obey all regular
signs and summons sent to me from a worthy Thrice Journeymen of
the Rite, or from the body of a just and lawfully constituted
Sanctum of the Rite.
Furthermore do I promise and swear that the secrets of a
Journeymen of the Rite, delivered to me in charge as such, shall
remain as secure and inviolable in my breast as they were in his
own before communication.
Furthermore do I promise and swear, that I will neither wrong
this Sanctum, nor a Journeymen of the Rite, to the value of
anything, knowingly, nor suffer it to be done by another, if in
my power to prevent.
Furthermore I do promise and swear that I will neither forget to
offer myself for the sake of One, nor evade from sacrificing
myself for the sake of One, nor selfishly deny another for the
sake of attaining the truth to the ultimate nature of my Being
in relation to all that was, is, or ever will be.
To all of which I do solemnly promise and swear, without
physical or mental hesitation or evasion of conscience, binding
myself under no less a penalty than to be cast into the barren
wasteland left by the Great Deluge, to walk countless miles and
live countless lives, ever thirsty, ever hungry, and ever dying,
but recalling neither what I thirst for, nor hunger for, nor
what it means to die, should I ever knowingly or willfully
violate this, my solemn oath of this third and final journey.
Let this be my testament of sincerity and truth under the
watchful Eye of the Ascendant One.
Now that you have sworn yourselves in to this journey, I will
first impart you with my most precious gift, of which you must
never forget. Shows third sign. This is a sign. The sign of the Keys.
The Keys of the letters D & A. If this reminds you of the
two signs already in your possession, it is because this sign is
the synthesis of both keys, alluding to the ancient adage "As
Above, So Below"—the will of God in Heaven is the Will of
Mankind on Earth. Together, the Keys of D & A symbolize the
sum of two forces synthesizing to create new ideas, new
insights, new worlds, and new life.
The representatives of both keys—the numbers 8 and 13—are part
of a sequential pattern that forms the invisible framework of
the entire cosmos, and runs through the very fabric of our
Being.
As for my true identity, I am the Keeper of the Keys—sworn by
this Sanctum to conceal and never reveal the true secret that
sleeps within this Sepulcher unless the signs find worthy
Journeymen who, through their journeys, have found themselves.
For your selfless deeds, I wish to impart you with that which
will unlock the Sepulcher. However, only the Keeper of the Keys
can unlock it, which means I must relinquish my name so that you
too may become the Keepers of the Keys. Will you accept my name?
JM: We do.
KK: Then I will now
invest you with the name of the Keeper of this Keys, which you
must never forget; but, as you are uninstructed, let he who has
hitherto answered for you at this time give me the sign of the
Keys of D & A. Senior Emissary.
SE: Keeper of the
Keys.
KK: Show me a sign.

KK: Who is its
rightful keeper?
SE: I am.
KK: What is your name?

KK: How can you

SE: As Above, So

KK & SE perform gesture while pronouncing each syllable
of the name.
SE: Ut
KK: Na
SE: Pish
KK: Tim
KK & SE: Ut-Na-Pish-Tim
KK:
Ut-Na-Pish-Tim is the name of the Keeper of the Keys, a
name which you have now accepted as your own. You shall neither
relinquish it to anyone but to a worthy Journeymen sworn in as
Keeper of the Keys within the security of a duly established
Sanctum, nor utter in any manner except that which you have been
instructed.
Worthy Journeymen! Rise, and satisfy the Junior and Senior
Overseers that you are in possession of the sign of the Keys of
D & A gives third sign, and your new name, Ut-Na-Pish-Tim.

journey.
JO: How can you
prove this to be so?
SE: By certain
signs, a key, and the name of its keeper.
JO: What are signs?

triangles.
JO: Show me a sign.
SE gives third sign.

SE conducts Journeymen toward the East.
MS, raps gavel once, halting SE: Senior Emissary, reconduct these
Journeymen before the Sepulcher of the Forgotten One. Done, raps gavel three times All rise!
KK: Thrice Journeymen
and Keepers of the Keys, you have finally reached the end of your
third journey. Before you is the Sepulcher of the Forgotten One,
the enigma that sleeps until one so worthy as yourselves can
release it from its abeyance. Only by unlocking the Sepulcher can
the Forgotten One reveal to you the Ultimate Truth that you seek.
Worthy Journeymen, are you prepared for the Truth?
JM: We are.
KK unveils two tuning forks—one of the Key of D at 288 Hz, and
the other of the Key of A# at 468 Hz—one in each hand: Then here are your keys. In my right,
an instrument that, when struck, shall release the true Key of D.
In my left, an instrument that, when struck, shall release the
true Key of A. Together strikes tuning
forks at the same time, the harmonious vibrations
shall unlock the Sepulcher of the Forgotten One.
Worthy Journeymen, listen closely to my instruction. In memory of
the Forgotten One, advance before the Sepulcher in single file,
relinquishing your name in the proper gesture which you were
instructed. Take then the keys and strike them in the proper
manner. Then, close your eyes and place the keys beside each ear
to remind yourself of this once-familiar vibration. Afterward,
replace them from whence they came, and open the Sepulcher. Once
opened, lean forward and gaze into the Sepulcher. Do not utter a
word. Just look and remember. Then when you have remembered,
replace the cover and return silently as you were. Attendants,
assist them. Done.
Each Journeymen does as instructed. When they open and gaze
into the Sepulcher, there is only a mirror inside, and all
they see within is their own reflection.
KK, advances before each Journeymen, whisper in ear: Journeymen, who is the Forgotten One?
JM: I am.
KK, whispers: You are
the One who forgot you are One. Shake
hands.
When done, KK returns to her position before the Sepulcher.
At long last, the Forgotten One has remembered! Journeymen,
rejoice!
MS raps gavel three times. All rise to applaud. Then rap gavel
once, seating all.
KK: In the beginning
there was One. Takes tuning forks. Then One begot Two. Strikes tuning forks. And when One
begot Two, One forgot it was One. Thus was born the Illusion of
Separation. From the Illusion was born the Unknown, and from the
Unknown begot Fear of the Other. The Other but merely a reflection
of Self. This truth veiled among fearful brothers. So we wander
through the labyrinthine byways of life, till a voice beckons for
a journey to begin. In search of a truth that we think is without,
but in truth the search is within. Through fortitude, honor, and
sacrifice, we are made worthy to unlock the secret. One which we
locked with our own set of keys, replaces
tuning forks then hid
so we may one day retrieve it. A forgotten truth we have always
known deep in our hearts, and remembered once our journey is done.
The ultimate truth locked in a Sepulcher. The truth that All is
One.
Turns and faces the East: Master
Servant,
their third journey has ended.
MS, rises: Thrice
Journeymen, the Ultimate Truth has been revealed. You are the
Forgotten One no longer. These three journeys that you have
embarked on were necessary for you to come to this realization on
your own. As your third journey comes to an end, your final
journey shall now begin. Beyond the security of these walls is a
vast, desolate wasteland left by the Great Deluge; and scattered
throughout the world are the last surviving remnants of Human
civilization, wandering about the labyrinthine ruins of a glorious
past now forgotten, with neither a memory of their former glory,
their true identity, nor their sublime destiny. Your final journey
is this: travel beyond the ruins of this land, and search for
these Wanderers. Leave these borders into foreign countries where
our Wanderers in their state of oblivion have rebuilt their lives
on fertile ground. Infuse yourselves into their cultures. Learn
their languages. Honor their traditions. Master their crafts and
trades. Gently impart your light when, where, and how you see fit
with respect to their newfound beliefs and their will to reject
you. And when you find a Wanderer that seeks direction, guide them
on their path to recollection. Refuge will be provided by this
Sanctum if ever they happen to stumble our way, providing that
they too come willfully on their own accord, neither ordered nor
coerced; that they too seek refuge in peace, without devious
intent; and that they too possess a certain fortitude that, upon
retiring from our Sanctum, will enable them to willingly traverse
and perform critical tasks on our behest. Like all Journeymen who
have come and gone before you, they too shall embark on their
journey into the Inner Sanctum, to unlock the Ultimate Truth
awaiting them inside a lonely Sepulcher.
Pause.
Senior Emissary.
SE: Master Servant.
MS: Reconduct these
Journeymen to the place whence they came, invest them with that
which was divested, and return to the Inner Sanctum to outfit the
One who has remembered. Done.
